Over Land and Sea

WOW! So much has happened in that last sevel weeks. On July 28 (my fiance's birthday! Happy Birthday Jake!) I left Greenville for my month of traveling. I know that normal people don't take a month of but God blessed me with a month off to recover from this past year of 24/7 care of my Grandmother and to prepare me for the fall... where I will continue to care for her and add in teaching 5 days a week half day.

So my trip started with an awesome reunion of friends from Covenant... 22 of us in fact! The largest one yet! It was a wonderful weekend of laughter, fun, games, and encouragement (the type that can come after hours of being together and getting below the surface level conversations to some of what is REALLY going on in life... those are often the most painful and healing type of conversations.)

After that weekend I went back with the Cox family and saw Jasmine off for China for two years.. and then left myself for Berlin.

I just thought of you today and decided to do a search on you to see if I could find out where you are and what you're up to. All I can say is WOW! I'd love to hear from you, but I can see you're busy, so I won't be offended if I don't. Eigentlich, most of my friends haven't heard from me in about 2 years! The picture is great (wish I knew the story behind it :) ). Take care. I'm glad to know you're doing so well.
